To say you are looking forward to something is an interesting phrase isn't it? It means that you're excited about something upcoming, and it also literally translates to facing oneself in the direction of the event/time/etc. I'd say that's how many of us feel about 2011, well according to my ultra scientific findings by way of twitter. I'm not terribly big on resolutions so I take the end of the year to re-evaluate life and business. What have I done this year, what challenges have the year brought, what can I do better, and last..is this where I want to be? Thankfully, I can answer a resounding yes to the last one. It has been a wonderful year, a year of growth spurts, and a challenging one. You never know what will happen when you take a leap in any aspect of life, but by taking it you're open to learning through the challenges. What I learned from 2010:
-trying to please everyone makes for a tired me. stop it.
-there are no guarantees. none. stop it.
-the image of your brand is in your hands
My intentions for 2011:
-takes design risks, the only failure lies in not trying
-grasp the image and message of my company by the horns
-ask for help when I need it
-expand distribution in a concentrated, targeted manner
-travel more...yes please!
