The Bootstrap Project

I was introduced to The Bootstrap Project last week after reading about it on one of my favorite blogs, Out And About Africa. Could these piece be more heavenly? And how genius of them to show that traditional textiles can fit in thoroughlly modern spaces? As a matter of fact, I almost like them more in a neutral background than competing to be "heard" in a dramatic space.

The Bootstrap Project's mission is to retain centuries old crafts, working with artisans to preserve customs while enriching lives and communities. Now..I know what you're thinking. I see that Suzani, it's great and all but it's like $700 right? I'll let you go see the surprise for yourself...ok fine...it's $200, and prices are just as incredible throughout the entire site. Go forth and shop!
